The First Time I Ponned Dental School
After 2 weeks odd of non-stop activity.
I finally konked out.I mean not finally. But i just could not take it.
Poof.
I don't know for how long have i not rested at home for an entire day or just slacked around the east.
School wise i feel like i have settled down much more. School is still hectic but bearable. I have some caught up with work and hence things feel more managable. No more as if i'm on some uncontrollable horse taking me for a run among thorny bushes.

Had dinner with JD's friends (louis and girlfriend, jin meng and ben) at westlake. it was louis idea to eat there and so he did the ordering. the food there was not too bad. had the three tiered pork with bun. was yummy. the most hilarious part was that he ordered some dish called "shuang qiu tie ban" a direct tranlation is double balled hot plate. doesn't it sound like some dish made from a eunarch? haha. and the dish was delayed by quite abit. of course louis asked for the status of the dish. it was just hilarious. imagine if the waitor took it from there and said "oh, we're currently waiting for a eunarch" ok...

Went for dinner with JD and family. I was panicking before dinner due to my not so polished chinese, some may say the lack of ability to speak chinese. thank God all went well. was the first time that i ate bamboo clam. it was garnished generously with pan fried garlic. super delicious and has a rather unusual texture. we also had alaskan crab. its soft shelled and was cooked with white pepper. rather delicios too but i defi won't pay 200 bucks to eat it again. the fish was also very nice. but i had to drown it with lots of white wine to keep my tongue from swelling. on the whole it was a superb meal. thanks darl for bringing me. =)

celebrated krystal's 21st birthday at brewerkz. was really nice catching up with her, jocelyn, joanne and geraldine. haven't seen them in ages. their still as bimbotic and crazy as usual. but i guess i'm way quieter now. jd was pulled down too. =) thanks for accompanying me. din't have much to say that night. probably due to slight fatique but more so cause of lack of common topic. since we've grown to our different lives we have had diff friends and all. not much left in common but it still is nice knowing that i'm still in contact with my childhood friends. din't continue on to pub with them cause i had school the next day. party pooper. =)

celebrated our first year of friendship, love, companionship, hugs kisses and all the nice things. had dinner at labrador park. the ambience was nice and the food was good but most importantly it was the company that mattered. thanks darling for being such a great boyfriend, freind and all. really appriciate you!
on the same week met up with og for dinner at cartel. got to mingle with my juniors. =) their a nice bunch but kinda quiet. hope they will open up more during the course of orientation. (i hate orietations.)
also met up with ebeegirls for a short while cause they were celebrating miss shini's birthday. happy belated birthday girl. cheers to our friendship. =) see ya around in school! (i hope.)

Dental camp.
The shirt producer and all was horrendous. Had many problems with the dealings and everything. In the end got charged $200 more for air freight. was quite irritated but since its still cheaper than the other companies i'll just let off. but dun ever order from them. (ask me for their name) they give you the most cock and bull stories and they are dishonest. all our instructions to them were specific and detailed to the tiniest pixel and they still made up their own version of it. it nearly resulted in us not having shirts for the camp. horrendous experince. its like being hung from your toes and dangles upside down until every penny you have falls out of your pockets.
We had a BBQ on the first night. maybe due to the fact that its a friday night there was a poor show up. which in a way was good for us cause fewer doctors = less r_gging and more food. (although they ran out of charcoal and had to go buy more. i shall not comment)
beach games and all were on the next day. kinda sian and hot. the usual. got all covered in tomatoe sauce and floor which is gross. was preparing for the game backstab and so was filling the balloons with these stuff. bad idea. the balloons burst on us instead of the juniors. was really pissed and so went all out in saboing everyone who came to play. too bad.
fright night.
i fell asleep halfway. so jd was left to do his thing. poor boy. haha. but when i woke up i went a lil wonky and started asking them funny questions. my fellow classmates who were hiding in the bushes thought i was mad. but thats not it. there was this couple who was so scared that they did not dare to stay and hear the story. first they walked in the wrong direction than they just dashed past us. haha. my station is not scary at all! it just telling them the gist of whats going on. at the next station they were so scaredthey just edged past it and did not take the rose that was given to them. lol. at that station too (the second one) these pair of twins asks the couple to unite them. instead of uniting them.. the guy proceeds to untie the dress of one of the girls. isn't it hilarious? he prolly thinks he got lucky or something. but no. it was hilarious. reached home only at 6+am. parents thought i was going out and asked me where i was going so early in the morning.

whole week was pretty busy. preparing for tests and all.

had lunch at jalan pari depat at a cafe called miss u cafe. they have alright set meals. but we uncovered two other jewels there. there is this place called house of bread. they sell delicious bread for low prices. like $2 for a loaf of walnut raisin. we bought this garlic bread that was toasted till it was crispy. JD finished the whole pack. it only cost $1.50. thre was this flat bread with capsicums and cream cheese. was delicious too. we had it for dinner (cost only $2.50).
went for a godiva thing. had lots of chocolates and and all. so yummy. learnt how to make chocolates too! i'll make for you someday if you ask me too. =) (photos will come another day) rushed down to the indoor stadium for praise and worship. three non-stop hours. powerful. ended the night with maggie goreng. delicious.

Celebrated alexia's 21st birthday. she had a party at her place. her dog is really cute. its a silent chihuahua. had fun bitching with classmates about school. prolly the first time i went out with classmates outside of school functions too. lol.

Celebrated Fiona's 21t birthday. she had a head gear party meaning that everyone was to wear headgear in order to get food. haha. it was rea;;y wonky and fun. there was the palestinian head gear. quite funny. someone came with a brazil wig - green yellow and fuzzy. another came with the sushi bar tender thing. they one they tie around their forehead. or is it the china prortestor's thing. i can't decide. she took polaroids of everyone. real cool. and her wall was covered with mahjong paper so we could draw on it. she had roasted lamb and cavair. yummy as always. she's like my favouritest senior ever. kick ass babe!

celebrated JD's birthday at kepple club with his family. by the end of the night i was all nauseated and dizzy and my head was throbbing. due to the get up early for patho, long car rides to and fro (sch-home.home-club), building float air, moving things for float, hello orientationess and maybe alcohol? i puked. (eeeee). and so i decided to pon the dean's lesson early this ungodly morning. doubt i'll go down to school today. its just too far away and the weather is way too hot. what good excuses.
